At the age of 14, Irena Nakome along with her younger sister Nina, her grandfather Takuya and her best friend Donal, create an organisation that protects people from wrong doers too tough for the government to handle.
Also Irena wants to use I.G.O to make people aware of creatures believed to be a myth actually exist.
To make the organisation bigger, they travel to Romania to meet Tatalani, a vampire-demon (a vampire that feeds off of the demonic power of demons) who Takuya met years before. She is an old Romanian woman with a Russian accent and the ability to see into the future using a crystal ball.
It's thanks to Tatalani that Irena is able to set up an I.G.O Japanese branch, German Branch, French Branch and English branch.
Donal helps Irena set up the Australian branch. With the help from an obviously sus politician of Australia, I.G.O becomes operational.
And that is the gist of the beginning of I.G.O and Irena's story. The main story shifts its focus on 13 year old Stephenie Hamilton. Her story is more complex though. I'll try my best to briefly explain it in the next post.

A organization huh..who are they specifically fighting against. Terrorist, supernatural identities, crime in general or just a little bit in between.
ReplyDeleteWell since it's fantasy, I'd say all of the above. Though most dangerous threats they face count as terrorism. I mean if someone threatens the lives of innocents and tries to take over the world, that is classed as terrorism.
